Two stocks (which I bought) opened with a gap this month...
SHFL had an earnings conference at 5pm on the day I bought the call options. The earnings announcement was great news and the next day, it opened with a huge gap upwards, my $1.85 call options became $5 instantaneously! It was also my first trade made with 2 contracts (I figured I have enough capital to buy more than 1 contract).
EPD had a sharp increase the 2nd day after my purchase too, but I was in a Put option. Thank god for my stop loss, the trade exited automatically at a loss of $90.

I wanted to ask you if you ever subscribed to any of jason's picks? I saw the results page on his site and they are impressive but just wanted to know if anyone has actually had success using his options picks? I guess eventually If one get good at it they will come up with the same picks as he would! Just like you did with SHFL and few others!
If you want i can give you my picks when they come up. (im a bit of a novice to this system but have been trading for years)

Well, I actually have one star pick because I signed up for his basic course when he had his 1st year anniversary, he offered 1 stock pick for free with every purchase. I'm assuming the same thing as you... that the stock pick will be the same counters that we scanned and qualified in our TC2005.
However, I have a friend who took up his advance course and sometimes him and me end up with different trading methods, sometimes the advance students don't only look at the day of the scans but also the 2nd day if it doesn't qualify during trading hours for the scans day.
I have not used my stock pick yet (saving it for a rainy day), I'll inform you when I do. Meanwhile, I'll ask Jason about this...

Thats interesting about the advanced trading course. It makes sense that if you have a decent set up on the scan day bu tthe next day you get a last gasp buy/sell the doesn't surpass the previous day high then you would enter the trade ( at a better price then the day before mind you). I wonder what the advance course costs?
Just for fun my scans pulled up AMTD as a good set up for tomorrow!

The advance course cost
The advance course cost about $139 (if I'm not mistaken), I have not scanned yet (I'm at work lol). It's fun to have a trading buddy when star trading. We can exchange opinions and scans, sometimes we can double check the some qualified stars which was overlooked.

I asked Jason about the stock picks. It's basically for people who's lazy to learn about the system. The stock picks will be the same as the scans we qualify. Funny thing though is that he claims a lot of star traders still purchase his stock picks.
